Operatic narrative on Iran-Armenian composer Loris Tjeknavorian performed

Iran-based AIO Opera Group has performed pieces composed by Iranian-Armenian composer and conductor Loris Tjeknavorian at Vahdat Hall.

The operatic performance titled ‘ Pardis & Paradise’ conducted by composer, pianist and musicologist Payman Mansouri took place Friday at the Tehran iconic hall on January 5.

 “We’ve been rehearsing the repertoire for six months,” Mansouri previously told media, adding, “The players are from the members of Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Iran’s National Orchestra.”

Loris Haykasi Tjeknavorian is an Iranian Armenian composer and conductor. He is one of the most celebrated cultural figures in Armenia and Iran.
